Junior Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps

Reserve Officers' Training Corps Accolades Our cadets became nurses, lawyers, teachers, police officers, firemen, electricians, military pilots and navigators, both officers and enlisted members in all branches, childcare workers, business operators, and all the other careers in life. Air Force Junior ROTC is not just about joining the military. We do not pressure anyone to do so. We want our students to continue their education beyond high school.
  • Recognized by the Air Force as a “Distinguished Unit” for the last 9 years in a row.
  • Recognized by the Air Force as a “Distinguished Unit with Merit” after the last three triennial Air Force inspections
  • Scored an “Exceeds Standards” in last year’s triennial inspection.  This is the highest recognition possible.
  • Recognized by our Air Force Inspector last year of being in the Top 10 of nearly 900 AFJROTC units across the world.
  • Our Air Force inspector also designated CMSgt. John Futral and Lt. Col. Ronald Whittle “Outstanding Instructors.”  Normally, you have to apply to be recognized.  We didn’t.
