Superintendent Meets with High School Student Delegates

The Cherokee County School District’s Student Advisor and Student Delegates to the School Board gathered today for their third roundtable meeting with Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis. One outstanding high school senior from each of CCSD’s high schools serves as a delegate for one school year to give input and feedback to the School Board and to the Superintendent. During today’s meeting, Superintendent Davis shared how their treasured input in the fall led to improvements in the district’s work in its mission to be the highest performing school district in Georgia. She then asked them for more feedback on specific school improvement issues. Delegates also assisted Lynda Wallace of Academics & Accountability in her annual review of how CCSD uses federal educational funding. #CCSDElevateTheExcellence
